They say it takes a village to raise a child, but sometimes the same is true for pets. While no one replaces mom or dad in a dog’s heart, some pups make it very clear that they have a special soft spot for other family members — especially grandma.
One lovable pit bull named Tish recently proved just how strong that bond can be when her favorite visitor showed up.
Tish already enjoys life at home with her mom, especially when it comes to zooming around the living room or getting plenty of attention. But when Grandma pulls into the driveway, the excitement reaches a whole new level.
In a viral video captured on March 8, Tish spots her grandma arriving and immediately goes into full celebration mode. Her tail starts wagging at lightning speed before Grandma even makes it to the door.
As Grandma walks toward the house, Tish can barely contain herself. The energetic pup wiggles, dances and practically vibrates with excitement while waiting for the door to open.

Honestly, they may not be wrong. After all, spoiling is practically part of the grandma job description — especially when it comes to dogs.
While most viewers were focused on Tish’s joyful welcome, one person noticed someone else briefly walking in the driveway and asked who the mystery visitor was.
The dog’s owner quickly cleared it up, explaining it was simply the upstairs neighbor passing through.
But Tish clearly didn’t care about anyone else around. She had only one thing on her mind — greeting her beloved grandma with as much excitement as possible.
