When your fur-baby is hurting, you’re hurting. And it’s hard to make them feel comfortable when they’re hurt. Luckily for one pup, her mama knew exactly how to make her Golden Retriever cheer up after coming home for surgery.
And if you ask us, it’s definitely the cutest way to recover.
Kaia looked pretty darn miserable in the video her mama shared online. Thankfully, her human baby sister was there and it seemed to help things immensely.

The clip shows Kaia and baby sis chilling on the ground together on the girl’s activity blanket. The baby looks like she’s having a good time, but Kaia, on the other hand, looks pained.
She seems to be having a hard time keeping her eyes open, and when the camera pans down you can see that her lower body has been shaved for surgery and she has a bandage on her back leg.
