The golden retriever is let into the bedroom and immediately gallops towards the tiny kitten – more than ready to make a new friend. However, the kitten arches its back and gives off a defensive hiss.
Despite his attempts at play, the kitten isn’t impressed. Eventually, though, it understands that the Golden is but a gentle giant.
The story ends with the kitten snuggling up against the golden retriever, preparing to have a nap next to her new bestie.
