Remember the first time you rode your bike without training wheels? Well that’s probably what it felt like for one baby giraffe who was allowed to leave its ‘baby’ enclosure for the first time.
The adorable little one was actually a little scared when his “human butlers” opened up a door to a larger space.

The video showed a big day for baby Finn; the day he saw what’s beyond his enclosure. Well, sort of. As the video shows, Finn was a little nervous when he saw what was happening.
“Today was a huge day because the human butlers opened the other door!” a voiceover for Finn stated. “That’s right […] the door beyond my birth place was opened today.”
Finn couldn’t really take it all in. What was going on? Finn was so nervous that he ran back to his mom for protection. Eventually Finn worked up the nerve and took his first step into the new space. Success!
Before you could blink Finn was zooming around. He even played a game of “ring around the mommy” before taking off again. He really took to the new enclosure like a fish to water.
