Dogs don’t always understand their surroundings, but no one would expect a pup to be baffled by the great outdoors. That’s exactly what happened when one woman brought her pup to their brand new backyard for the first time. The dog was so confused! But we’re hopeful that she’ll get the hang of it….one day.
Dottie’s human mom was cracking up when she realized the dog was more than a little confused by her surroundings.
Dottie’s owner opened the door and…nothing. The Lab did absolutely nothing. Her response was positively underwhelming. In fact Dottie wouldn’t even leave the door frame without a little prodding.
“Go! Go ahead!” her owner said from behind the camera. Nope, Dottie wasn’t having it at all.
Dottie spent the entire time outside walking right beside her mama “like on leash walks,” and looking truly perplexed by all the space.

The comments section was absolutely tickled by Dottie’s confusion. “Uh mom…. I don’t have my leash on….” wrote one person. “She’s gonna LOVE it once she figures it out,” someone else pointed out. “We need a video of her figuring it out and having dog zoomies!” one person begged.
