Before the baby, there’s your fur-baby. You know, the one who you raised from when they were a wee little learning to walk on their four legs? The transition from being fur-parents to well, parent-parents, isn’t easy.
But one hilarious video proves that a Black Lab wasn’t going to lose out on any attention from his owners anytime soon.
Max left quite the impression during a gender reveal party his owners had.
As devoted pet owners, there was no way they weren’t going to involve their Black Labrador Retriever to learn the gender of their baby.
So they came up with a plan. In a video the couple shared online, it shows the dog bursting through the couple’s backdoor with two balloons in tow. The color of the balloons were meant to tell the parents what their baby’s gender was.

Let’s just say that the Black Lab took to the challenge with gusto. The dog not only brought the balloons outside, he charged with all his might and leapt off the deck. The colors of the balloons were pink — it’s a girl!
“‘Omg all these people cheering for me, I’m flattered’ – Max, probably,” his owner joked in the caption.
Luckily, mom and dad totally loved it. And people in the comments section were obsessed with Max’s grand entrance too. “Hands down the greatest gender reveal of all time,” wrote one person.
“Labs are always so happy thinking every gathering is for them, he said yes this is all for me thank you for gathering to celebrate… me,” a second person joked. “If there isn’t a dog participating in the gender reveal I’m not coming,” a third commenter vowed.
