Naturalist Educator Bo Welden has a dream job. He spends his day guiding visitors through Grand Teton and Yellowstone, on the lookout for the animals that call those places home.
He shared a video on Tuesday, July 30th, of a mama bear and her cubs that he found just hanging out, and it’s adorable. In the video’s caption, he goes on to say that he’d seen 22 bears that day alone!
The video shows a lone bear sitting under a tree, feeding on the fresh grass. But this bear wasn’t alone; her two cubs had climbed up the tree and hung out while she enjoyed some alone time.
Bo said that him and his friend waited ‘a long while’ before mom finally was done eating and called to the cubs to come down because it was time to move on. They look so cute climbing down!

I wish Bo’s video had sound so that we could hear what mama bear’s call to the little ones sounded like.
It was adorable to see one come down headfirst, and the other come down tail first! One cub kept trying to hitch a ride on mom, but she wasn’t having it.
