Now that the weather’s getting colder, all we want to do is stay inside the house. But you know what would totally make all that indoor time better? If we had a deer to accompany us. Most of us aren’t lucky to have a deer as a pet. Which is why we’re going to have to live vicariously through one woman, who had the best day in with her deer bestie.
If you think watching TV with your cat is fun, just imagine watching TV with your pet deer. It sounds like something that would happen to Snow White! Amazingly, this is a real thing that’s happening to one person. TBH, we’re sort of jealous.
The owner, who goes by Brown Hiking Trails online, showed how sweet life could be with a pet deer by your side. The two were watching tennis together and staying out of the cold. Sounds like some great plans to us!

We didn’t have a pet deer, but lived right off of Seneca Park in Rochester NY – our back yard – and the deer were plentiful. Always had them on our property.
I don’t know what colors deer can see. Maybe it was the bright screen and movement … we had deer watching TV through the window ALL the time! They seemed mesmerized by it.
