A video about a dog’s unusual way of waking up of its mom in the morning has gone viral online.
The clip was posted on TikTok by Katie Schafer (@katieschafer8) and has garnered more than 17.5 million views since it was shared on January 28. A note overlaid on the video asks: “How does your lab [Labrador] wake you up?”

The footage shows a woman laying on a bed, while a chocolate Labrador is standing next to the bed, holding an empty metal food bowl in its mouth.
The dog then throws the bowl onto the woman’s head, which creates a loud gong sound before the clip ends.
