We all love to spoil our pets by giving them their favorite treats. My dog would do just about anything for a whole carrot or slice of cheese! For Gina Whitehead, head of Life On Sweetly Farm on Instagram, that means creating a beautiful charcuterie board…for her chickens!

Gina posted a video at the beginning of May showing what happens when she heads out to the coop with a charcuterie board full of her chickens’ favorite things: corns, strawberries, blackberries, peas, raspberries, grapes, blueberries, string cheese, Greek yogurt, grub worms and, probably the strangest to those of us that don’t raise chickens, scrambled eggs. Make sure your sound is on because their squawks and pecks of excitement will make your day!

People couldn’t believe Gina gave her chickens whole blackberries and she addressed it in the video’s caption (complete with an eye roll emoji!): “Please don’t worry that my chickens are swallowing a blackberry whole. If you have ever spent time outdoors watching chickens, then you’ve seen them catch a frog or a lizard and dissect it before eating it? Same thing with blackberries!”

As you can imagine, viewers loved watching – and listening – to the chickens enjoying their charcuterie board. @kagwe_marugu shared, “What polite and distinguished ladies! I just love the little taps on the plate!” @TheYorkshireTeacherMom enjoyed it too, “Happy chicken noises!!!”
