Love knows no age, distance, or differences, even species. It’s up to each individual to discover who they love, how they love, and how they want to be loved. Whether that means pursuing a romantic relationship or making best friends with every dog you meet, it’s completely up to you!
Dogs can be just as friendly and eager to fall in love. Just ask Courtney and her social butterfly Golden Retriever. He loves everyone he meets, including the gray neighborhood cat who loves him just as much as he loves her. They’re the polar opposite BFFs that everyone’s been waiting for!

This is too cute! Normally, outdoor cats would rather not have anything to do with the dogs who walk by, but this happy cat was more than willing to say hello. In fact, these two seem to have developed a relationship that no one saw coming.
“OMG, she’s putting her scent on him!” one person commented. “She’s saying he’s hers.” Clearly, the feelings are mutual, though it’s still a bit hard to tell whether they’re going to end up as BFFs or BF and GF.
Another commenter had everyone smiling when they wrote, “As a cat person, I can confirm that little kitty loves your dog and thinks you’re okay, too, but she mostly is here for the pup.” That’s fair! Anyone who’s talked to a person purely to interact with their dog has felt exactly the same way.
