A Golden Retriever named Finn recently proved he’s the ultimate canine romantic when he spotted another Golden, Morgan, in a boat across the water. Without a second thought, Finn leapt into the lake and paddled straight toward her, determined to meet his new crush.

When Finn reached the boat, Morgan greeted him with a sweet kiss on the nose. Her owners, clearly smitten with the meet-cute, helped Finn climb aboard so the two could spend time together. What followed was pure puppy love — the pair sniffed, wagged, and soaked up each other’s company as if they’d been waiting their whole lives for this moment.
For Finn, it was a perfect day: new friends, a boat ride, and a brand-new girlfriend. Commenters couldn’t get enough of the adorable scene, with one writing that it “doesn’t get any better than that.”
