A mischievous golden retriever has stolen hearts online after getting caught red-pawed — and hilariously putting himself in “time out.”
In a viral TikTok clip, the pup sits quietly in his crate, looking adorably guilty after destroying his owner’s couch. The stuffing is everywhere, the frame is exposed, and the chaos speaks for itself. But before his owner even says a word, this golden retriever has already “sentenced” himself.

“When you already know you’re in trouble so you put yourself in time out,” the owner captioned the video. “He really said … straight to jail.”
Dog Owners Can Relate
The video instantly struck a chord with pet parents who know this all too well. One viewer laughed, “Having a dog is so stressful, because why does he chew everything and then run to his kennel the second I see him? He knows it’s wrong but still does it!”
Another shared their own story: “My German shepherd chewed the blinds off my window. They KNOW when they mess up, but they just can’t resist.”
