Life with a puppy is never boring — and when that puppy happens to be a 100-plus-pound Great Dane, things get even more interesting.
Hank, a 9-month-old Great Dane, is already tipping the scales well over 100 pounds. With legs that seem to go on forever, he can reach countertops, doorknobs, and apparently… bathroom fixtures.
On February 9, Hank’s mom heard something strange: the shower running. The lights were off. No one was supposed to be in there.
Except Hank.
This water-loving giant had somehow figured out how to turn the shower on all by himself — and decided it was spa day. When Mom walked in, she found him standing there like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Hank has been obsessed with water since he was just a few months old. Whether it’s sneaking drinks from the bathtub faucet or hopping into the shower for a rinse, this pup isn’t shy about getting wet. And judging by his calm reaction when he was caught, he knew he wasn’t in too much trouble.
One commenter joked about the way his mom pointed out he still had his collar on — as if he were fully dressed for the occasion. Because, as every dog parent knows, collars are basically outfits.
Hank casually walked over to his mom afterward like, “Oh hey, could you take this off for me?” Totally unbothered. Totally confident.
While some dog parents struggle to get their pups anywhere near a bath, Hank is out here scheduling his own showers. Sure, it probably means extra towels and a little cleanup, but having a dog who loves water isn’t the worst problem to have — especially when his coat comes out looking shiny and fresh.
And the wild part? He’s still growing.
In previous videos, Hank’s mom revealed he weighed 120 pounds at just 7 months old. Great Danes typically reach their full height around 18 months, but many continue filling out until they’re about 2 years old. That means this oversized puppy still has plenty of growing to do.
