This was definitely not part of the plan.
Marie Watkins, an author, podcaster, and sustainability expert, was simply trying to show her followers how to prep a garden bed — but what she uncovered instead had everyone smiling.
In a throwback video she shared online, Marie began clearing out old yard debris and getting ready to add fresh soil for planting. Pretty standard gardening stuff… until things took a sudden, adorable turn.
As soon as she started digging, tiny baby bunnies began popping out of the soil one after another, clearly just as shocked as she was. Turns out, she had accidentally stumbled upon a hidden bunny nest right in the middle of her garden bed.

Cue the chaos — and the cuteness.
Instead of continuing her project, Marie quickly realized she’d have to hit pause on planting. After all, the current “residents” weren’t exactly ready to move out yet.
She joked in the caption, “Did you plant your bunny seeds this year?” — and honestly, it’s hard to think of a better harvest.
Anyone who’s ever come across a bunny nest knows the mix of panic and awe that comes with it. One second you’re gardening, the next you’ve got a bunch of tiny fluff balls scattering in every direction.
Needless to say, Marie’s gardening tutorial didn’t go as planned — but it turned into something way better.
