Pearl and Poppi already love the water like most Goldens do, so their owners decided to take things to the next level by building them their very own backyard pool. The project is still in progress, but that didn’t stop one very determined pup from diving right in anyway.
In a hilarious video filmed in Nashville, the dogs and their mom, Liz, were checking out the unfinished saltwater plunge pool when things took a turn. It was a super windy day—and according to Pearl, that’s exactly why she ended up in the water.
Yep… she claims the wind “blew her in.”
Even though Liz had just told her not to get in, Pearl somehow “accidentally” found herself taking a dip. And judging by her reaction afterward, she had absolutely zero regrets.

The real giveaway? Her face while getting blow-dried. Pure happiness. No guilt. No shame. Just a very satisfied dog who clearly thought it was 100% worth it.
Liz shared a bit more about the pool project, explaining they’re halfway through installing an in-ground fiberglass pool. Next steps include adding pavers, saltwater, and finishing touches before it’s fully ready for summer.
But if Pearl has anything to say about it, the pool is already open.
