One new puppy owner thought she had her Pit Bull puppy safely tucked away in a crate whenever she left the house. Instead, she discovered she had adopted a very sneaky little escape artist.
TikToker Brooke Gannon recently brought home a Pit Bull puppy and, like many pet parents, started crating her when she had to leave for work or go to the gym.
It made sense. Puppies are curious, playful, and very good at finding trouble. A crate can help keep them safe while they are still learning the rules, potty training, and figuring out what they should and should not chew.
But Brooke quickly realized something strange was happening.
Several times, she came home and found her puppy out of the crate, even though she had left her secured inside. Somehow, the tiny pup was getting free while Brooke was gone.
Naturally, Brooke needed answers.
She finally set up a camera to catch the little dog in the act, and what she discovered was almost too cute to handle.
Instead of forcing her way out or throwing a puppy tantrum, the sweet Pit Bull used the gentlest trick imaginable.
She kissed her way out.
The clever pup pressed her face and mouth against the crate latch until she managed to work it open, proving she was not just adorable, but also seriously smart.

Pit Bulls are known for being affectionate, goofy, and full of personality, and Brooke’s puppy seems to have all of those traits already. She did not just escape her crate. She did it in the sweetest possible way.
Now Brooke knows she may need a stronger latch, because this little pup has already figured out that charm, patience, and a few well-placed kisses can get her just about anywhere.
