Bringing home a new baby is a big adjustment for the whole family, and that includes the pets.
But one tiny kitten named Opal seems to have already figured out her new role. She is going to be the sweetest, gentlest big sister possible.
In an adorable video, Opal sits near her newborn baby brother and appears to practice the quietest little meows. Instead of letting out her usual kitten sounds, she makes tiny silent meows, almost as if she knows the baby is sleeping and does not want to wake him.
It is almost too sweet to handle.
Even when her mom reassures her that she does not have to be quiet, Opal still seems determined to keep her voice down. She looks like she is trying her very best to be polite, careful and calm around the newest member of the family.
