Beep, beep. Mama swan is coming through.
A sweet viral video is giving people the perfect answer to why “swan boats” exist in the first place. The adorable clip shows a mother swan calmly gliding across the water with her babies riding on her back like tiny passengers.
The swan mom looked completely unbothered as she carried her little family across the pond. Three fluffy cygnets were tucked onto her back, while one baby swam close behind.
Any parent can probably relate. Sometimes it is just easier to pick the kids up and take them where they need to go.
This was basically the swan version of carpool.

The babies were all squeezed together on their mom’s back, making the sweet scene look like three siblings trying to fit in the backseat during a family road trip. Meanwhile, the little one trailing behind appeared to be practicing those brand-new swimming skills.
The whole moment was too precious, especially with what looked like another adult swan following behind them. Maybe dad was bringing up the rear for the family outing.

It is easy to see why. Between the patient mom, the fluffy passengers and the tiny swimmer trying to keep up, the clip is the kind of wholesome animal moment that instantly makes the internet smile.
