One Ring-Necked Parrot is winning over viewers with her tiny singing lessons after a video showed her trying her best to master a five-note vocal run.
In the adorable clip, the musical bird listens closely as her mom explains the exercise. The goal is simple but ambitious: sing five notes in a row.

The little parrot appears focused as she listens, thinks it over, and then gives it her best shot. It may not be perfect yet, but her effort is almost too cute to handle.

“Used to only be 3. She’s trying so hard,” it said. “Most of this video was of her actively listening, thinking for a bit, then doing a little sing. I have no doubt she will get it, but gosh, she’s so cute when she learns.”

Her mom later shared that singing is not just a random trick for the bird. It is something she actually asks to practice.
“She asks every day to do singing training,” her mom explained. “I’m always delighted to! Even when we are doing flying training, she will often just look at me like, ‘nah,’ and she will sing instead.”
