Steven McBee Jr. may be a cattle rancher and reality TV cowboy, but even he has trouble getting work done when his horse decides it is cuddle time.
The star of Bravo’s The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys recently shared a hilarious video of the horse he affectionately calls his “Velcro horse.” And after seeing the clip, it is easy to understand why.
In the video, Steven appears to be trying to handle construction work around the farm. But his massive horse has other plans. The gentle giant rests his huge head right on Steven’s shoulder, leaning in so close that Steven can barely move.
Getting work done is already hard enough. Add a 1,000-pound animal demanding attention, and suddenly the job becomes nearly impossible.
Steven joked in the caption that his horse was probably thinking, “Hey Dad, whatcha doing? I wanna watch!!”

Fans loved the clingy moment, and many pointed out that this seems to be a regular part of life on the ranch. After looking through some of Steven’s other videos, it is clear his horse likes to stay close no matter what is going on.
One commenter perfectly summed it up, writing, “Horses when the activity requires 0 horses.”
Another viewer noticed that Steven’s dog was also nearby, joking, “The fact you can hear the dog panting and know he’s also right there lol!”
Steven replied that his dog, Sitka, is basically always part of the background noise.
“LITERALLY. Sitka’s panting can be heard in every single video I take hahaha!” he wrote.
Another fan had everyone laughing with a joke about the horse’s attachment to Steven.
“You’re his emotional support human, and it appears he is having a day LOL!” the commenter wrote.
The sweet video is a perfect reminder that farm animals can be just as needy, nosy and affectionate as house pets. Steven may have been trying to work, but his horse clearly decided that supervising, snuggling and getting in the way were all part of the job.
And honestly, that kind of help is hard to be mad at.
