A dad made an unexpected discovery at work when he spotted a tiny kitten that had apparently been dumped at his job site.

At first, the frightened little cat wasn’t easy to catch. But after some persistence, the man finally managed to scoop her up on Aug. 25 and decided there was only one thing to do: bring her home.

His family was stunned when he walked through the door with the tiny kitten, but the surprise quickly turned into excitement.

His two sons immediately fell in love with the little cat, who was soon given the name Sally.

A video shared by @raidergirl19907 shows the boys looking absolutely thrilled as they welcome their unexpected new family member.

The kitten’s rough beginning quickly turned into a happy ending, and viewers couldn’t get enough of how quickly the family opened their home to her.

But many were also furious that someone would abandon a kitten in the first place.

“Who dumps any living creature, let alone a Siamese?” one viewer asked.

“People that dump animals are disgusting,” another commenter wrote.

Whatever happened before Sally was found, she now appears to be exactly where she belongs.

The boys’ reactions made it clear they were already completely smitten, and Sally seemed more than happy to settle into her new life.

Some viewers also debated exactly what breed the kitten might be.

Sally has the darker face, ears and extremities commonly associated with Siamese cats, but that coloring alone doesn’t necessarily mean she is a purebred Siamese.

Cats with this appearance are known as “pointed” cats, meaning their bodies are lighter while their ears, face, legs and tail are darker.

Several breeds can have pointed coloring, including Siamese, Balinese, Javanese and Colorpoint Shorthair cats.

But whether Sally is Siamese, a mix or something else entirely doesn’t seem to matter to her new family.

Within days of being abandoned, the tiny kitten went from hiding at a job site to having a home, two adoring young best friends and a family that clearly plans to keep her for good.
