We can’t help but be moved by this story of a woman who let a homeless cat that has been hanging around her property into her heated greenhouse before a blizzard, only to find that this cat was also a soon-to-be mama looking for a soft place to rest and keep her newborns safe.
WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW:
The stray cat had been hanging around the woman’s barn in a small town in Kansas, but when the weather turned rough, she decided that the friendly kitty should probably come inside her heated greenhouse to ride out the storm.
Inside, the kitty immediately took to the soft blankets in a chair, and pretty soon, the woman realized that she was about to give birth. In a few hours, she had five new kittens, and an extremely friendly and grateful mama cat.

That’s exactly what we did April 01, 2013. A cat was hanging around, and that night we had a nasty sleet storm. So I let her into our heated back room. As she walked away I saw two teeny-tiny feet and a tiny tail … ! Kittens And the first was backwards.
I had to help her out for who turned out to be Rambo. His sister Cubby was born along with him, but I didn’t know that until the afterbirth started to move! Got her out and breathing. Kewpie cleaned them both up. And blessed us with another four little baby-cats.
I think it’s fitting that they were born April Fool’s Day.
I love these rescue stories! i have 4 kitties myself. I had to put a 5th one down recently.
Sorry for your loss. No matter if you have them a month or 20 years, the hurt is forever.
