You deserve a special treat for making it to the weekend, animal fam. A gift that only we can give you – the gift of something so wholesome and sweet you won’t be able to stop yourself from crying. Tears of happiness and joy, but still, there will be tears (at least, there were on our side).
When animals form friendships, it’s something we can’t ignore – especially when the animals are from different species. This unlikely friendship happens to be between a cheerful chihuahua and his perfectly tardy tortoise friend.
The chihuahua comes and visits him every day, bringing him a new toy for them to “play” with together. Even though we can’t see it, we’re sure it brings this rigid reptile some joy to his cold-blooded heart. From chew toys, to sticks, to random items he finds on the ground, the doggo “Skippy” loves to share his precious items with his friend as they hang out together. It’s really one of the cutest things we’ve seen all week.
