Sure, we give our pets all the love and attention that we possibly can — and then some. But how we can know for sure that they actually understand how much we love them? Do they feel the same about us? Do they even understand the concept of love?
If you have ever had a pet of your own, chances are, similar thoughts have crossed your mind. Luckily, years of research has given us some pretty solid answers.
First, dogs very much do feel and understand and feel love. Best of all, the reasons for that love extend well beyond the food and shelter we provide them. Second, they can even tell that we love them and they love us just the same!
