With loud booms and sudden cracks, thunderstorms can be intense, overwhelming, and just downright scary for puppies! And who can blame them? After all, their young years are so sensitive.
But good dog parents know how to comfort their fur babies when they are scared. Just take the dog dad in this video, who consoles his adorable Dachshund-Frenchie mix as he experiences his first thunderstorm

What a great dad! And what a poor baby! You can tell how frightened he is by those scary, cracking booms. Thankfully, his dad is there to pet him and shield him from the storm. If you need your heart to be melted today, just look at this adorable little guy when he turns his head to look out and see if the storm is still happening.
Unfortunately, when he looked, Zeus was still throwing a temper tantrum, so this little guy tucked his head back into his dad’s arms to wait it out. And, oh my God, the precious look on this little baby’s face was the most heart-rendering thing we have ever seen.
We hope this little guy knows just how adored he is – the Internet is prepared to go full John Wick on that mean old thunderstorm for scaring him like this.
