In a hilarious Instagram video, Dunkin, a Golden Retriever puppy, meets his grandma for the first time. The viral video shows his journey from the car ride to the precious fist meeting with his grandmother. Besides continually roasting his mom in a funny voiceover, his hilarious reactions to each moment steal the spotlight.
The video begins with Dunkin introducing himself via a funny voiceover. He admits he is “a little nervous” about meeting his grandma for the first time because he doesn’t want her to be “annoying” like her mom. However, he is ready to risk it once he learns that grandmas give kids treats and toys.

Dunkin narrates that he got “demoted” to the backseat during the two-and-a-half-hour car ride. He excuses his bad behavior on the exhausting ride while casually insulting his mom out of nowhere. While confused why his dad chooses to stay with his mom, he puts his paw out to his parents in front, anticipating emotional support.
Dunkin’s family arrives at his grandma’s, and the two unite with a wholesome hug. The hilarious voiceover says, “Luckily she [grandma] is beautiful and looks nothing like my mom,” continuing the casual disparaging comments about his mom. As he enjoys grandma’s hugs and kisses, he confesses embarrassment over his wagging tail. Moreover, his inability to stabilize his legs puts him in an “awkward” position in grandma’s arms. But he decides to overlook it because he likes her “butt pats.”
However, the pup admits being “over this” and demands that Grandma “hand over the treats.” The following clip shows him in a shirt, which he says he was put in to be “modest or something.” In the end, the pup compares her mom’s birth to a “natural disaster,” which, at that point, the viewers should have seen coming.
