Has anyone ever looked happier than this gorgeous rescue horse galloping freely down the beach? This animal’s name is Capo, and he was adopted last year. His owner caught the most beautiful footage of him with the wind in his mane and the sand between his hooves. We’re actually kind of jealous!
Capo belongs to Marta, animal lover and founder of Essaouira Dreamers, a Morocco-based travel agency that provides clients with amazing equine experiences. Although their offerings include scenic rides along the shore, this rescue horse got to fly solo in his mom’s epic video. He certainly seems to have enjoyed this excursion!
“4 months since we rescued him, look how happy he is in his new life,” Marta wrote in her caption.

This rescue horse wasn’t completely alone as he galloped across the sand. There was a four-legged friend behind him the entire time, although the pooch (understandably) seemed to have some trouble keeping up with the other animal.
Over 224 million people have watched Capo galloping along the beach on social media. Commenters were moved by the sight!
“Never realised how beautiful it is to see a horse run free…” wrote one user.
Another added, “Something about seeing an animal free and choosing to come back to a human makes my heart swell!”
In the caption of another video, Marta explained some of Capo’s backstory. Apparently, this stunning creature’s original owners sold him because he had a “bad character.” However, Marta was determined to rescue this horse and provide him with a better lifestyle. Eventually, she was able to take him home. What a happy ending!
It’s amazing what a good home can do for an animal. We’re so glad that this rescue horse found himself a loving owner!
