Pet people are our kind of people. And the best kind of people like the ones who take in senior dogs. Just take two kind humans who knew they needed to do the right thing for an older dog in need. Dominique and her boyfriend were so worried about a dog that had nowhere to go — what would come of her? That’s when they decided to step in.
Dominique documented the amazing moment she brought the sweet girl home.

Things almost went in a completely different direction. As Dominique explained, the dog’s owners and their child were severely allergic to the dog. They couldn’t rehome the pup and no shelter would take her. Which meant they were considering the worst – euthanization.
The most infuriating part is that the dog was completely healthy. There was nothing wrong with her! She might be a senior dog, but she has so many years of love left to give.
That’s what really cinched things for the couple. Dominique’s boyfriend knew that this was just plain old wrong, so he told her that they needed to foster the pup.
Thank goodness they did. The pup looked so incredibly happy in her new foster home. Don’t worry about anything, Ginger. You’re safe!
