The woman who brings a child into the world may be their biological mother, but every person has the right and privilege to build their own family throughout life. Whether it’s partners, friends, siblings, or even pets, every member plays a vital role in their family unit.
For those of us who have met their soulmates in the form of an animal, it’s easy to see why the cat mom behind @kittieizziecubby didn’t think twice before adopting her rescue cat‘s two precious babies. It’s not common for kittens to stay with their mom, but the bond between these black kittens, their mama cat, and their human was too strong to break.
Look at how these adorable kittens have grown up so far. They’re basically their mama’s twins!

OMG, this mama cat really said “copy and paste!” These kittens share so much in common with their mom, from their enchanting yellow eyes to their affinity for watching the world go by from the front door.
As commenter @bruinlover09 noticed, even “their identical head tilts” are precisely the same! These baby black cats are turning into their mama’s mini-me’s after spending so much time together, but it’s so cute that no one would change a thing.
Another commenter had everyone sobbing when she wrote, “Can you imagine how full her heart is? She has a good mommy, so she gets to be a great mommy and loves her babies for the rest of her days. There’s no question that this is Kittie, Izzie, and Cubby’s Happily Ever After!
We took in a cat during a late season sleet storm. She thanked us that night with six kittens. We were able to get all seven spayed/neutered/vetted, and found homes for two pairs of bonded littermates. That left mom and two kittens. There was no way I was going to “keep two” and the left over was going to the shelter. So we kept all three.
Mom and her two kitten-cats were so bonded I’m glad we kept all together.
