A heart-melting moment between a goldendoodle and her grandma is going viral for all the right reasons—and once you see it, you’ll understand why.
Lee, a proud dog mom to a 2-year-old goldendoodle named Clementine, captured the exact moment her pup realized they were on their way to grandma’s house—and it’s pure joy in motion.
In a now-viral TikTok video shared to @leelee_332, Clementine can be seen sitting in the car when something magical happens. As they hit a familiar dirt road that leads to her grandmother’s home, Clementine suddenly perks up, her tail wagging like crazy, her paws tapping the console in excitement. She’s practically bouncing out of her seat.

By the time they pull into the driveway, she can’t wait a second longer. Clementine bolts out of the car and sprints toward grandma, tail flying, body wiggling, and paws leaping in the air. It’s the kind of reunion that will make even the grumpiest heart melt.
And this isn’t just a dog who likes her grandma—this is a full-on obsession. Lee told Newsweek that Clementine is completely glued to her mom during their visits.
“She follows her around everywhere, cuddles on her lap, and even waits outside the garden gate just to be near her,” Lee said. “My mom even makes her a special egg every morning.”
Lee, one of six siblings, joked that since she’s the only one not married and not planning to have kids, her mom has fully embraced being a dog grandma—and Clementine has fully embraced being the favorite grandkid.
Even though Lee and Clementine only make the trip a few times a year, the goldendoodle never forgets the way. As soon as the car hits that dirt road and the bridge comes into view, Clementine knows exactly where she’s going—and who’s waiting on the other side.
TikTok viewers couldn’t get enough. The video, posted July 1, has been flooded with comments calling the moment “wholesome,” “precious,” and “movie-level sweet.” And yes, they’re also obsessed with the name Clementine, which fits this sweet, affectionate pup perfectly.
Lee says she cherishes every moment of the grandma-granddog bond.
“There’s nothing like looking over and seeing my mom and Clementine sitting on the porch having a conversation,” she said.
