Leaving town when you have a pet isn’t always easy—but having someone like Auntie Julie makes all the difference.
This beloved Boston-based cat sitter has built a reputation for treating every feline in her care like family. But even for a seasoned pro like her, one recent client managed to steal the show. On July 17, she met a pint-sized Siamese Oriental Shorthair kitten named Obi—and it was love at first sight.

At just 10 weeks old and tipping the scales at a tiny 2.6 pounds, Obi is basically a walking ball of cuteness. Wrapped in blankets and radiating pure sweetness, he didn’t hesitate for a second before crawling right into Julie’s lap like they’d known each other forever.
“Obi has never met a stranger,” one commenter quipped. “Legend has it he’s already planning a mayoral campaign. He has my vote.”
Honestly, same. With those oversized ears and natural charm, he’s more than ready to run the show—and listen to everyone’s problems while he’s at it. Mayor Obi? We’re here for it.
