When most pets are winding down for the night, they usually find a cozy bed, curl up on the couch, or sprawl out on the floor in the worst possible spot for you to trip over. But these two cats? They’ve got a very different bedtime routine — they sit on the couch, get comfy, and turn on their favorite bird documentaries.

And they are completely mesmerized. Eyes wide, ears perked, totally focused. You get the feeling an actual bird could stroll through the living room, and they wouldn’t even notice.
Commenters couldn’t get enough of their concentration. One joked, “Those are the best behaved kids I’ve seen in years! Paying attention and leaving mom alone — perfect.” Another pointed out their cozy setup: “They got their blankies and a tray for snackies? They’re living their best lives.”
Plenty of cat owners chimed in to share that their own pets have specific TV preferences, too. One said their cat is obsessed with CatTV — especially the new Halloween-themed episodes featuring ghosts, pumpkins, and creepy crawlies. Another added, “My cat has her own Netflix profile full of calm nature shows. But sometimes she’s in a mood and will watch anything. I’ve even caught her watching the evening news.”
These two couch potatoes prove one thing for sure: whether it’s birds, bugs, or breaking news, cats can be just as glued to the screen as the rest of us.
