Meet Benedict, an adorable dachshund who’s rewriting the rules of bath time.
TikTok user @doxiebenny recently shared a video of Benedict absolutely loving his bath, and it’s impossible not to smile. The clip is captioned, “If loving baths is wrong, he doesn’t want to be right.”
The 60-second video kicks off with Benedict sitting calmly in the bathtub under a stream of water from the faucet, eyes closed, completely relaxed. The caption reads, “New tub, same routine.” Instead of dodging the water like most dogs, Benedict actually moves across the tub to make sure his head is directly under the faucet, fully embracing every drop.

As the video continues, Benedict lies down on his side, floats in the rising water, and keeps repositioning himself to stay under the faucet. It’s a bath-loving dedication you rarely see, and it’s as hilarious as it is adorable. Once the water stops, he’s left standing in the emptying tub, soaking wet and looking a little sad that the fun is over.
The video has inspired plenty of funny reactions from other pet owners.
