If you’ve ever watched a cat get startled, you already know the term “scaredy-cat” didn’t come out of nowhere. When a feline panics, it’s not subtle. It’s dramatic. It’s explosive. And most of the time, it’s comedy gold.

Case in point: one very fluffy white cat who just wanted a peaceful nap on the couch. That’s it. No chaos. No drama. Just a quiet little catnap.

Unfortunately, this cat lives with a feathered troublemaker.

In the now-viral clip making the rounds online, the cat is fast asleep, completely unaware that their parrot sibling is plotting something outrageous. And this isn’t just a harmless chirp or a little squawk.

Nope. This bird goes full supervillain.

WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW:

While the cat is snoozing, the parrot grabs their iguana sibling by the nape, lifts the poor reptile into the air, and drops them directly on top of the sleeping feline.

Yes. An iguana. From above.

The result? Absolute pandemonium.

The cat launches straight into the air with a look of pure betrayal and confusion, letting out a startled screech before bouncing around the room like they just saw a ghost. It’s the kind of over-the-top reaction that makes you rewind the video at least three times.

Meanwhile, the parrot appears completely delighted with the chaos it just caused, throwing its head back like a cartoon villain reveling in a perfectly executed prank.

The internet, of course, cannot get enough. Between the airborne iguana, the dramatic leap, and the bird’s apparent laughter, it’s the kind of unexpected animal moment that feels almost scripted.

One thing’s for sure: that cat will never nap peacefully again.
