The internet can’t get enough of an adorable dog and cat duo that viewers say look like they’re performing a perfectly synchronized dance together.

TikTok user Chloé (@clo.aa7), who lives in France, shared a heartwarming video featuring her pets — Joys the dog and Salem the tabby cat — and the clip quickly exploded online.

Posted on February 27, the short video shows the unlikely best friends lounging in the sunshine on a hardwood floor. The golden-colored dog stretches out comfortably while the tabby cat lies nearby in the exact same position, facing the pup.

Then something hilarious happens.

As the classical tune The Blue Danube Waltz plays in the background, the dog suddenly rolls onto its back and stretches its legs into the air. Just seconds later, the cat copies the exact same move — making it look like the pair are performing a choreographed routine together.

The moment is so perfectly timed that viewers joked the animals were doing a synchronized dance.

Chloé captioned the video in French with the words “Les inséparables,” which translates to “the inseparable ones.”

The sweet moment struck a chord online. Within days, the video racked up more than 4 million views and over 1.1 million likes as viewers flooded the comments with reactions.

One person joked the duo was participating in “synchronized sunbathing,” while another wrote, “What a good stretch in sync with the music!”

Another viewer called the moment “the purest dance,” while one viral comment featured an image of judges holding up perfect scores of 100 — a response that received more than 43,000 likes of its own.

Although dogs and cats are often portrayed as natural enemies, experts say the two species can become close companions when introduced properly.

In fact, a study examining more than 1,200 households that owned both a dog and a cat found the animals frequently get along better than people expect. According to research published in the journal PLOS One, many pets were observed sleeping together (68.5 percent of households) and playing together (62.4 percent).

Chloé says Joys and Salem are a perfect example of that surprising friendship.

“My cat and my dog are incredibly close,” she explained. “They love spending time together in the sun or even sleeping side by side.”

And judging by the internet’s reaction, their synchronized “dance” might be one of the most wholesome viral moments of the year.
