An adorable little bird is melting hearts online after being caught in the act of grabbing building materials straight from his furry best friend.
In a viral TikTok video, a sparrow named Tiny can be seen confidently approaching a laid-back golden retriever and gently pulling tufts of fur right off him — all in the name of nest-building.
According to the caption shared by Tiny’s owner, the determined bird has been hard at work on his nest and decided to go directly to the source for the perfect soft material.
“Tiny has been building a nest, and now he wants to take some fluff straight from the source,” the on-screen text reads.
And honestly, it seems like a pretty smart move.

The golden retriever doesn’t appear too bothered by the whole thing, sitting calmly as Tiny helps himself to a bit of extra fluff. If anything, the dog looks slightly confused — like he’s not totally sure what’s happening, but he’s willing to go along with it.
Viewers couldn’t get enough of the sweet and slightly hilarious interaction.
