A viral video is cracking up Instagram viewers after a massive, fluffy St. Bernard gets completely outmatched by a surprisingly aggressive swan — and retreats like he wants no part of the drama.
The clip starts off peacefully, with the gentle giant wading through the shallow water, clearly just enjoying his day. But things take a turn when a nearby swan spots him and decides the lake isn’t big enough for the both of them.
With feathers raised and attitude fully activated, the swan begins charging straight toward the dog, making it clear who’s in charge of that territory.
And despite his size, the St. Bernard doesn’t argue.
Instead, the big pup quickly backs off, stepping out of the water with his tail tucked and a defeated, slightly offended look on his face. After shaking himself dry, he even glances back at the swan — who is still watching closely, as if making sure the dog doesn’t dare come back.
