A group of baby geese got the surprise of their lives after powerful wind gusts literally swept them off their feet in an adorable viral moment that has the internet cracking up.
The hilarious scene unfolded May 5 outside Great Wolf Lodge in Massachusetts, where a mama goose and her fluffy little goslings suddenly found themselves battling intense spring winds.
And the tiny birds didn’t stand a chance.
Video captured the helpless baby goose chicks tumbling and sliding all over the pavement as strong gusts blew them around like fuzzy little ping-pong balls.
At one point, several of the goslings appeared to briefly “take flight” as the wind pushed them across the ground while their confused mother tried desperately to keep track of them.

The poor mama goose looked completely overwhelmed as her babies rolled around in every direction during the chaotic few seconds.
Thankfully, the windy chaos didn’t last long.
After about 10 wild seconds, the gusts finally calmed down and the tiny goslings slowly began getting back on their feet — although a few seemed pretty shaken up by the unexpected flying lesson.
Honestly, who could blame them?
Social media users immediately fell in love with the adorable clip, with many admitting they never even realized something like this could happen.
“This never occurred to me as something that could happen,” one stunned viewer commented.
Another person joked, “When my ducks aren’t in a row, I’m going to blame it on the wind.”
Luckily, no goslings were hurt during the windy mishap.
Still, it’s probably safe to say those little birds got a much earlier introduction to “flying” than they were expecting.
