One paddleboarder got way more than he bargained for after a curious Manatee decided his board looked like the perfect place to relax.
The hilarious encounter happened while Aaron, who shares kayaking adventures online, was out enjoying the water when the giant sea cow suddenly swam up and made itself completely at home on his paddleboard.
And honestly? The manatee acted like it owned the place.
Video from the unforgettable moment shows the massive animal grabbing onto the side of the board and refusing to let go as it floated peacefully beside Aaron.

At one point, the manatee looked so comfortable that it practically turned the paddleboard into its own personal floating couch.
But things somehow became even funnier.
Just when it seemed like the oversized sea creature couldn’t get any more relaxed, the manatee apparently decided to use the board as its bathroom, too.
Aaron took the unexpected moment in stride and didn’t seem too shocked by the wild encounter.
At one point in the video, he jokingly tells the manatee, “You need a manicure,” while laughing at the animal’s giant nails and clingy behavior.
Social media users couldn’t get enough of the hilarious interaction, with many joking that the manatee had fully adopted the paddleboard as its new home.
Others laughed that the gentle giant clearly had zero intentions of respecting personal space.
The adorable clip is just another reminder that when humans share the water with wildlife, you never really know what’s going to happen next.
