A miniature Australian Shepherd puppy is melting hearts online after getting caught in the ultimate family dilemma: choosing which parent he loves more.
The adorable pup, named Koda, became the star of a viral video when his human parents decided to put a popular dog theory to the test. According to the trend, dogs will supposedly look at the person they love most first. But Koda’s reaction proved things are never quite that simple.
The sweet clip begins with Koda sitting between his mom and dad on the couch while the caption reads, “They say your dog will look at the person they love the most first…”
His parents then take turns calling for his attention as they wait to see who the fluffy little pup will choose.
At first, Koda looks over at his dad, seemingly making his decision instantly. But just moments later, he turns toward his mom during the next round, leaving both of them laughing.
Each time the game continues, Koda pauses dramatically and stares back and forth between his parents like he’s facing the hardest decision of his life. To make things even sweeter, the tiny pup rewards whoever he picks with a few affectionate kisses.
