Two abandoned puppies wandering alone on the streets of Miami seemed completely terrified and out of options — until they spotted someone slowing down to help them.
The emotional rescue, shared by TikTok user @notjorescues, is melting hearts online after viewers watched the frightened puppies cautiously realize they might finally be safe.
The animal rescuer, who regularly searches for dumped and neglected dogs across Miami, came across the tiny puppies struggling to survive on their own near the side of the road.
At first, the scared pups kept their distance.
But the moment one of the puppies realized the woman was trying to help instead of hurt them, everything changed.
The tiny dog suddenly sprinted toward her as if it had finally found hope.
Seconds later, the second puppy emerged too.
But what truly broke viewers’ hearts was the sweet moment the two puppies appeared to hug each other once they realized someone was finally there to save them.

The emotional video quickly spread online as animal lovers praised the rescuer for stopping to help the vulnerable pair.
“The moment they saw someone slow down for them… they ran like they’d finally found hope,” the rescuer wrote in the caption.
She also pleaded with viewers to help the puppies find permanent homes.
As of now, there has not been another update on whether the dogs have officially been adopted, but thousands online are already rooting for them to get the loving families they deserve.

Animal experts say abandoned puppies are especially vulnerable because they often lack the basic survival skills needed to survive alone outdoors.
Without proper food, shelter, or protection, young puppies can quickly suffer from dehydration, illness, disease, or injuries.
Organizations like Four Paws International also warn that abandoned dogs can accidentally wander into traffic or dangerous situations while trying to survive.
That’s part of why the rescue struck such an emotional chord with viewers.
For many people online, watching the scared little puppies finally let their guard down and trust someone again was almost too much to handle.
And as the rescuer later pleaded in another video: “Please stop dumping your dogs.”
