A heart-melting video of a Golden Retriever meeting his tiny puppy “twin” for the very first time is taking over the internet — and dog lovers can’t handle the cuteness.
The viral clip, shared by @frankandgeorge.nyc on May 11, shows 6-year-old Golden Retriever Frank coming face-to-face with his new baby brother, George. From the second the tiny pup arrives, Frank seems completely obsessed with him.
The sweet video captures Frank gently sniffing the puppy, watching his every move, and refusing to leave his side. Viewers immediately flooded the comments section, joking that it looked less like two dogs meeting and more like a Golden Retriever discovering a miniature version of himself.
Many fans called it “love at first sight” after seeing how quickly the older dog bonded with the tiny newcomer.
Honestly, it’s almost unfair how adorable these two are together.

Golden Retriever puppies are already one of the cutest things on earth, but little George looking exactly like his big brother somehow takes things to another level. Even though the pair aren’t from the same litter — and may not even share the same parents — they already look like they were made to be brothers.
The internet also noticed another hilarious Golden Retriever trait during the video.
“Ok, so they all go pick up their lamb chops and bring them to us as soon as we get home,” one viewer joked, referencing the beloved Lamb Chop dog toy that seems to exist in every Golden Retriever household on the planet.
While Frank appeared completely overwhelmed with excitement at first, viewers couldn’t get over the pure look of love in his eyes whenever he stared at little George.
But as cute as the dogs were, some people became equally obsessed with the family cat’s reaction in the background. While the dogs melted into instant friendship, the cat looked hilariously annoyed by the entire situation.
Thankfully, the owners quickly defended the feline in the comments.
“The cat loves them both,” they wrote. “He might be sweeter than the dogs are.”
That may be hard to believe after seeing his expression — but honestly, this entire furry family is internet gold.
