Chewy, the gentle giant behind the TikTok account @chewythenewfie, already has one of the sweetest family setups on the internet. His great-grandma absolutely adores him, and she is always finding little ways to spoil him.
This is the same grandma who has made him bunny ears for Easter and even whipped up a grilled cheese sandwich when he refused to eat his dinner.
So when she found out Chewy was heading off for Memorial Day weekend, she knew he could not leave without the perfect outfit.
That is when Grandma got to work.
She gathered sparkly red, white, and blue fabric, grabbed her scissors and thread, and sat down at her sewing machine to make Chewy a special American flag bandana.
The moment she leaned down and told him, “I’m going to make you something very special,” it was impossible not to melt.
Chewy just sat there like the most patient and loved granddog in the world, watching his great-grandma create something just for him.
