Sibling drama is funny enough at home, but apparently it gets even better when it happens on a paddleboard.

Two dog siblings are cracking up Instagram this week after one very patient Australian Shepherd was forced to tolerate the antics of a much younger and much more energetic Australian Cattle Dog.

The younger pup seems to have decided that paddleboarding is not just a relaxing outdoor activity. It is also the perfect time to use an older sibling as a personal chair, pillow, and jungle gym.

In the hilarious video, the Australian Cattle Dog can be seen climbing all over the older Australian Shepherd while the two are out on the water. At one point, the younger dog sits right on top of the older dog’s head.

At another, the pup lounges across their sibling’s back like the Australian Shepherd is part dog, part furniture.

And somehow, the older dog just takes it.

There is no snapping. No pushing back. No dramatic sibling meltdown.

Just a lot of patience and one absolutely unforgettable look.

The Australian Shepherd repeatedly gives the younger dog, and possibly their human, the kind of side-eye that says, “Are you seeing this? Are you going to do anything about this?”

Instagram viewers could not get enough.

The older pup’s expression made the whole video even funnier because it was clear this dog had reached the end of their patience but was still trying to be polite about it.

Anyone with a younger sibling, human or furry, knows the feeling.

The Cattle Dog, meanwhile, seemed completely unbothered. To the younger pup, the paddleboard ride was going perfectly. There was water, fresh air, and a built-in older sibling to sit on.

What more could a dog want?

The video is extra funny because the two dogs have such different energy. The Australian Shepherd is calm, steady, and clearly trying to enjoy the ride. The Australian Cattle Dog is pure chaos in puppy form.

Together, they make the perfect comedy duo.

The younger dog may think their big sibling is a seat, but the older dog’s patience deserves an award.

And judging by that side-eye, this Australian Shepherd is hoping the next paddleboard trip comes with a little more personal space.
