Summer is here, and everyone is looking for a way to cool off.
That includes dogs, especially the ones who act like water was invented just for them.
One Boxer recently got the perfect summer surprise when his human dad introduced him to a new water fountain toy. At first, the pup had absolutely no idea what to make of it.
He stared at the strange little contraption. He looked at his dad. He seemed curious, but definitely unsure.
What was this thing? Why was it sitting there? And why did everyone seem so excited about it?
Thankfully, his dad knew exactly how to help.
The fountain worked with a small pedal. Once the dog pressed it with his paw, water shot up into the air for him to play with.
His dad gave him a quick demonstration, and it did not take long for the Boxer to figure out the assignment.
In about 30 seconds, he went from confused and cautious to completely obsessed.

Once he realized he could make the water spray by pressing the pedal himself, there was no stopping him. The Boxer started stomping on the toy again and again, sending water flying everywhere.
His dad eventually backed away and let him take over, which was clearly the right move.
The happy dog splashed, played, and created his own personal backyard water park. Every press of the pedal brought another burst of joy.
It was the kind of simple summer moment dog lovers cannot resist: a curious pup, a fun new toy, and the exact second he realizes he is in control of the water.
By the end, one thing was very clear.
This Boxer is not just ready for summer. He is about to have the best one ever.
