A sweet Pit Bull named Hippo is winning over the internet after calmly letting his tiny human sister use him as the star of her latest fashion experiment.

Dogs put up with a lot when they love their families. For Hippo, that apparently includes lying perfectly still while a little girl covers his fur in stickers.

The adorable video shows Hippo relaxing on his small rainbow-colored couch when his human sister decides he needs a full sticker makeover. Instead of getting up, moving away or looking annoyed, Hippo simply stays put.

He looks completely unbothered.

In the clip, Hippo is stretched out on his couch with stickers placed all over him. His expression is somewhere between sleepy, relaxed and totally resigned to his role as the family’s most patient model.

His human mom seemed to think Hippo was enjoying the attention, or at least not minding it, so she let the little dress-up session continue.

And that is exactly what caught people’s attention online.

Some viewers were amazed by how calm Hippo appeared. Others could not stop laughing at how seriously he seemed to be taking his role as a sticker-covered couch potato.

But not everyone agreed about the moment.

Some commenters questioned whether children should be allowed to decorate a dog this way, warning that even calm dogs can become uncomfortable if pushed too far.

“Why would you let your kid do this to your dog?” one viewer wrote, raising concern that a dog could be blamed if it eventually growled or snapped.

Others defended the scene, pointing out that Hippo did not seem stressed or bothered. Several people said he looked completely relaxed and did not appear to have “a care in the world.”

Some viewers also saw the video as a sweet example of how gentle Pit Bull-type dogs can be when they are loved, trained and treated well.

One commenter even suggested showing the clip to people who believe Pit Bulls are automatically dangerous.

That reaction speaks to a bigger issue surrounding these dogs.

Pit Bulls are often unfairly labeled as aggressive, but the term “Pit Bull” is not actually one single breed. It is commonly used as an umbrella term for several types of dogs, including American Pit Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs and Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

Like any dog, their behavior depends heavily on their environment, training, socialization and the way they are treated by humans.

Responsible dog owners also know that children should always be supervised around pets, no matter how gentle the animal may seem. Dogs can be loving and patient, but they still need their boundaries respected.

In Hippo’s case, he appeared calm throughout the video. He did not seem to show obvious signs of distress, and by the look on his face, he may have been more interested in getting back to his nap than worrying about his new sticker-covered look.

For his fans, the clip was another reminder that some dogs really are big babies at heart.

And Hippo may be one of the sweetest examples yet.
