A tiny Highland calf is melting hearts online after acting less like a cow and more like an excited little puppy.

In an adorable video shared by Creekside Highland Haven, the fluffy baby cow can be seen having the time of her life after discovering something very important: her own tail.

The sweet calf seemed completely fascinated by it. Once she noticed it moving behind her, she started chasing it around just like a playful puppy.

It was the kind of innocent, joyful moment that makes people understand exactly why Highland cows are often lovingly called “grass puppies.”

This little one looked so happy in the clip, and her excitement was contagious. Watching a baby animal experience something for the very first time is always special, but seeing a tiny Highland calf chase her own tail took the cuteness to another level.
