Winning over a wild animal takes patience, trust and a little bit of creativity. For one man, that patience has paid off in the cutest way possible.

Adam Antman has managed to earn the trust of a group of wild chipmunks, and now the tiny animals happily run right up to him for snacks.

His setup is simple but adorable: a jar of mixed nuts, a camera and a lot of patience. In the video, one chipmunk stares straight into the camera while stuffing its cheeks full of nuts, looking completely comfortable as it eats from Adam’s hand.

The wholesome moment quickly caught people’s attention, with many viewers wondering how he managed to get so close to the little wild animals.

According to Adam, it did not happen overnight. He said he has been doing this for years, slowly building trust with the chipmunks one visit at a time.

Each chipmunk is different, but Adam said it usually takes about a month before one feels comfortable enough to approach him.

That kind of patience is not easy, but the reward is hard to beat. Watching a tiny chipmunk confidently climb up for a snack is exactly the kind of feel-good animal moment people love.

The video is a sweet reminder that sometimes the best wildlife encounters come from staying still, being gentle and letting nature come to you.
