Technology is supposed to make life easier, but one tiny Munchkin cat named Bug seems deeply unsure about her new high-tech bathroom.
In a hilarious video, Bug comes face-to-face with a self-cleaning litter box, and it appears to be her first time watching the machine do its thing. The curious cat is instantly suspicious.
As the litter box begins moving, Bug stands up on her short little legs to get a better look. She stares at it with the perfect mix of confusion, concern and total fascination.
Her face says it all. This is not a regular litter box. This is something mysterious, noisy and possibly magical.
Bug’s mom summed up the moment in the caption, writing, “My cat was unsure about her new litter box…”
And honestly, who can blame her?

The enclosed machine makes noises, moves on its own and looks nothing like the simple litter setup Bug was probably used to. To a cat, that has to feel less like a bathroom upgrade and more like a strange new roommate.
Viewers couldn’t get enough of Bug’s dramatic reaction as she tried to figure out what was happening right in front of her. Her wide-eyed stare made it look like she was silently asking, “What kind of sorcery is this?”
For now, Bug may not be fully convinced that technology belongs in her bathroom routine. But she has definitely mastered the art of looking adorable while judging it.
